Role Description
Edit Blog and Publishing team interns will edit the work of other interns (i.e., posters, blogs), update the blog post website, “We All Have A Heritage,” research and write blogs, and prepare books for publication. Team members will also edit and write material to support and publicize The Cost of Darkness, a documentary by The Culture C.O.-O.P. The film explores the cost of having darker skin against the backdrop of historical inequity, oppression, and white supremacy.
Human Resource team interns will research and develop an online booklet about diversity, equity, and cultural competency within education. They will promote quality education for all through online presentations and activities and aid in the development of educational materials. Like the Edit-Blog and Publishing interns, Human Resource interns will also assist with The Cost of Darkness documentary.
Both Edit Blog and Publishing and Human Resource team interns will update The Culture C.O.-O.P. 's Handshake and LinkedIn account pages (when needed, and if necessary).
